Now as part of The Clyde Coast radio many new projects, we now offer local students the chance of a 10 week internship involving all aspects of the running of a fully functional radio station and front of house office.
This course can run alongside the in house volunteers courses that we run for all our volunteers before they join the CCR family.

Our very first internship trainee Aaron, not only does he have a great knowledge and love of music, he and his band fill all the venues throughout Inverclyde. Aaron joined us 7 weeks ago and is nearly finished his internship but has promised to keep in touch with CCR after he has finished.
The Wind Farm Fund
Here is the very best bit of news
The Inverclyde Windfarm fund has given us a HUGE BOOST by giving us £2000 to use for the new project of DAB that is coming here to Clyde Coast Radio very soon. With the money given to us we have managed to apply for the new and yearly licence for our DAB Frequency and to be able to broadcast live shows.
It also helped us purchase a brand new computer system built especially for our radio station.
This funding was vital to us getting our DAB Frequency enabling us to open up another potential 150,000 new listeners in the Inverclyde area are alone to tune into the number 1 community radio station in the West Of Scotland.
So we are so happy and a HUGE THANK YOU to the Inverclyde Windfarm Fund for not only the funding for this year but the incredibly support that they have given us.

2nd up on the mic was Gabriella and Olaseke, again absolutely brilliant and they did promise to come back for another visit because they enjoyed it so much AND we have the very BEST BISCUITS.
