WHO ARE WE?
Clyde Coast Radio is a community internet radio station serving the whole of Inverclyde and surrounding areas. We also have some avid listeners as far afield as Canada, Spain, New Zealand and the South of France. We are here to play all the music you want to hear, mixing genres and eras from the 1950s to the present day, but of course, we still have to abide by the same broadcasting laws as all the other radio stations.
Clyde Coast Radio is run and operated solely by volunteers who love music as much as they love their community. As the past three years have shown, our local communities are growing stronger and stronger. Clyde Coast Radio is a self funded charity station and received a grant from the National Lottery Fund in its first year that allowed us to move to new premises at The Trust, Port Glasgow Business and Training Centre. We now have a fantastic front office and live broadcasting studio for all our volunteers to use and meet.
Another exciting development is the news that we will soon be broadcasting through DAB radio, which will allow us to reach those who don't have access to the internet. You will be able to tune in on your radio at home, or even in the car!
We are proud of all our dedicated volunteers' hard work and appreciate the amazing support we receive from our wonderful listeners. We hope you enjoy our shows!
